Registering and building your profile are free. When you submit your profile you choose one of two plans. On the Free plan your profile is sent for review at no charge, is listed and visible to other members, and you can browse with real names — but other members' photos are hidden, their profile pages are locked, you see only the number of people interested in you, and you get 3 connections per 30 days. On Premium you pay your category's fee (₹100 to ₹350) before an admin reviews your profile, and for 6 months you get visible photos, open profile pages, the identity of everyone interested in you and unlimited connections. Contact and family details need the other member to accept your interest on either plan. Renewal is manual — there is no automatic debit.

Three every 30 days. A connection counts per person, not per click — sending someone an interest or accepting theirs each uses one, and everything else with that same person is then free. Declining is always free and never counts against the three. If they accept, that member's photo and full profile open for you permanently — sending alone does not unlock them.

Only for members you have already connected with — someone you sent an interest to. Photo requests never cost a connection. On any plan, you also need your own photo uploaded before you can request someone else's.

Registering and building your profile are free, and the Free plan costs nothing at all. If you choose Premium, the fee depends on gender and caste category. Female members of any caste category and Male ST (Scheduled Tribe) members pay ₹100. Male SC (Scheduled Caste) members pay ₹150. Male OBC members pay ₹250. Male General / not specified members pay ₹350. This fee is paid at submission, before an admin reviews your profile, and your 6-month membership starts on the day the profile is approved. You register and build your profile for free. Payment happens at one point only: if you choose Premium when you submit your profile for review, you pay your category's fee then — before an admin reviews it. Paying does not guarantee approval and does not make approval faster; every profile is reviewed by a person on either plan. If a paid profile is rejected, the payment is held as credit and your corrected resubmission costs nothing. Your 6-month membership starts on the day your profile is approved, not the day you paid. Renewal is manual: there is no automatic debit and no standing instruction on your account, and we remind you 14 days and 3 days before expiry.

Your membership fee can be paid securely through our payment gateway using UPI (any UPI ID or app), debit and credit cards, or net banking. Each payment is a single one-off payment — we do not set up any recurring instruction on your account.

The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. If you paid for Premium and your profile is rejected, the payment is not taken — it is held as credit for a free resubmission, or refunded if you would rather not continue. Once your paid profile is approved, the fee is generally non-refundable, with limited exceptions such as a duplicate charge within 14 days. See our Refund Policy for full details.

Nothing is lost and nothing is charged. Your account moves automatically to the Free plan. Your profile stays listed and visible to other members exactly as before; only what you can see and do is limited — photos and profile pages are locked, and you get 3 connections per 30 days. Renew whenever you like to restore Premium access for another 6 months.

Yes. All payments are processed through an RBI-regulated payment gateway. ChingamMatrimony never receives or stores your card, UPI, or banking credentials, and holds no standing instruction on your account.

Members of the Hindu communities of Kerala — General, OBC, SC and ST caste categories. Minimum age: 18 years for women, 21 years for men. All profiles are manually reviewed before activation.
